About
Professor Polk began her education at the University of Illinois in 2011, where she was a dual JD/PhD in Philosophy student. During that time, she worked as a law clerk at Meyer Capel, P.C., a local Champaign law firm. In 2017, she clerked for the Honorable Joseph R. Goodwin in the Southern District of West Virginia. She is currently clerking for the Honorable Robert W. Trumble in the Northern District of West Virginia, and is completing her Philosophy dissertation on animal and environmental rights.
Professor Amber Polk is a 2016 graduate of the College of Law. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy & Classics in 2011 from the University of Pittsburgh.
